These are copies of the photographic prints given to me by Cornelius' son, Rupert Frederick Soule

Most of the photographs are of scenes on the Canadian Prairies, in the Rockies, and in the Selkirks.  Some were taken in Guelph or on Saltspring Island, Mayne Island, other Gulf Islands and other places.

Many are printed on 20cm (5 1/4") by 13cm (8.5") brown cards which are labeled along one edge with  SOULE on one side and  GUELPH, CANADA on the other in gold print.  Some are printed on white cards or black cards with no labels.  Some of them have descriptions of the scenes hand printed on them. Some have typed labels on the back, or both.  And while some have numbers there does not seem to be a correlation to the order in which the pictures would likely have been taken.

The images shown here are, of course, not reproduced with the same resolution or quality as the original prints.
