Annie Soule travels to San Juan (likely as a botanical sudent). J. J. Baird was also
on the returning steamer.
Annie and Ethel Soule travel to Clayoquot. (T. N. (M.?) Baird was also on the
returning steamer.
From the above information it seems likely that Annie met Thomas
Miller Baird Jr. while she was a student at the botanical station which was part of his
farm. |

BAIRD - SOULE -
Mr. Thomas Miller Baird of Port Renfrew, was yesterday married to Miss Annie Soule,
daughter of Mr. C. J. Soule of this city. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W.
Leslie Clay at the residence of the brides father, only intimate friends and the members
of the family being present. Miss Ethel Soule was bridesmaid and Mr. Ernest
Campbell acted as best man. The honeymoon will be spent on the sound and afterwards
Mr. & Mrs. Baird will make their home at Port Renfrew.
